Revolutionize your building maintenance with our Aerial Façade & Roof Inspection services. At Pro Inspect Solution, we utilize industrial-grade drones equipped with high-resolution and thermal imaging cameras to inspect high-rise buildings, inaccessible roofs, and expansive industrial sites. By removing the need for expensive scaffolding or risky gondolas, we provide a faster, safer, and more detailed assessment of your building’s envelope.

Why Choose Drone Inspection Over Traditional Methods?

Traditional facade inspections using gondolas or abseiling (rope access) are slow, costly, and dangerous.

  • Cost-Effective: Eliminate the massive cost of erecting scaffolding or renting skylifts.

  • Speed: Inspect a 30-storey condominium block in days, not weeks.

  • Safety First: Zero risk to human life. Our engineers stay safely on the ground while the drone does the dangerous work.

  • Data-Driven: We capture thousands of data points, allowing us to map defects with GPS precision.

Our Drone Services Scope

1. High-Rise Façade Inspection We scan every inch of your building’s exterior to identify:

  • Cracks & Spalling: High-resolution zoom lenses detect hairline cracks and loose concrete that pose falling hazards.

  • Paint & Cladding Defects: Identifying peeling paint, algae growth, or detached cladding panels.

2. Roof & Gutter Inspection

Accessing a roof is often difficult and dangerous. Our drones easily inspect:

  • Rust and corrosion on metal roofs.

  • Blocked gutters and drainage failures.

  • Damaged roof tiles or waterproofing membranes.

3. Thermal Imaging (Leak Detection)

  • The Invisible Problem: Water trapped under waterproofing or behind tiles holds heat differently than dry areas.

  • The Solution: Our thermal drones fly at sunset to detect these “heat signatures,” pinpointing the exact source of water leakage without hacking your walls.

Applications & Industries

Strata Properties (JMB/MC)

Periodic inspection of high-rise condos.

Commercial Buildings & Industrial Plants

Office towers, shopping malls, inspecting expansive factory roofs and chimneys.

Heritage Buildings

Non-intrusive inspection that touches nothing, preserving the historic structure.

Our Process

We adhere to strict safety protocols compliant with CAAM (Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia) regulations.

Step 1

Flight Planning & Safety Assessment

We analyze the site for no-fly zones, wind conditions, and safety perimeters.

Step 2

Data Capture & Analysis

Our pilot flies the pre-programmed route, capturing visual (RGB) and Thermal (Infrared) imagery and our engineers analyze the data.

Step 3

Reporting

You receive a comprehensive report pinpointing every defect location, ready for your maintenance team or for remedial works.

Drone Façade & Roof Inspection FAQs

Common questions about drone inspections

What is a drone façade inspection?

A survey of a building's external walls and roof using a drone with high-resolution and thermal cameras. Engineers review the images to find cracks, spalling, loose or detached finishes, corrosion and signs of water leakage.

Why use a drone instead of a gondola or scaffolding?

A drone can cover a whole façade without scaffolding, skylifts or gondolas. It is faster, and nobody has to work at height for the initial survey.

Can a drone inspection find water leaks?

Thermal imaging can show where moisture may be trapped behind finishes or under waterproofing, because wet areas hold heat differently from dry ones. Flights are timed for suitable conditions, and suspect areas are confirmed on site.

Can a drone replace close-up inspection completely?

No. A drone records what is visible; it cannot tap tiles or test concrete. If the images show suspect areas, we recommend targeted close-up checks or testing as part of a building condition assessment.

Are drone flights regulated in Malaysia?

Yes. Drone operations are regulated by the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM). We plan each flight around no-fly zones, wind conditions and safety perimeters.

Which buildings is this suitable for?

High-rise condominiums managed by JMBs or MCs, office towers, shopping malls, factory roofs and chimneys, and heritage buildings, where the inspection does not touch the structure.
